Help me Remember a Name

Do any of you guys remember a BIG DL that was invited to tryout for the saints way back in the early 2000s (maybe 2007ish) that was hyped cuz he was athletic enough to do a standing backflip but then got cut by the end of warm ups on the first day?

I remember being a kid and thinking we just found Warren Sapp and then being SOOO disappointed that he got cut.

I remember that. I think it was in 2008.

He played for Les Miles at Oklahoma State.
He came here with much fanfare but that ended quickly halfway through his first practice. He was so out of shape they had to take him off of the field because they thought he was having a heart attack.

Old timers (raises hand) will never forget the legend that was Joe Don Looney. Unbelievably gifted rb who also had a penchant for self destructive behavior. His pre-practice regimen consisted of him doing push-ups with whoever was the biggest guy on the team sitting on his back. He lasted 3 games with the Saints. Great SI story about his life.

The guy I always remember as a preseason savior was Daryl Hobbs. Kenny Wilkerson talked that guy up so much. Then he got into a shoving match with Danny Abramowicz and they shipped him out of town.
