Floyd was no choir boy, but neither is chauvin or any other cop that treats a cuffed and apprehended suspect that way.

Too many support cops regardless of their actions if those actions are directed to someone bad.

Not all cops, in fact I would say most cops are not bad if you overlook the fact that those good cops keep their mouths shut when they see bad cops doing bad cop things.

If you had to deal with being spit on, beat up and shot at by the dregs of society each and every day, you would kneel on a huge, high black dude too that you might not be able to control. High people are like Superman. The cops would like to go home to their families at the end of the day. They have an impossible task. You are an idiot if you think he killed him for shits and giggles. The dude overdosed and died by his OWN hand.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. I have an uncle who was a US Marshall and now trains all manner of law enforcement, he demonstrated the hold used on Floyd and it puts no pressure on a persons breathing or weight on the neck.

I don’t disagree tha Chauvin should be held accountable for his actions but not a murder conviction.

Maybe they should just call you the next time cops encounter a multi-felon passing counterfeit cash while ODing on Fent since you seem to think you could have handled it better.

Have you ever tried to arrest someone strung out on Fentanyl. I know I haven’t but I’ve heard numerous times on the news that someone who is under the influence of fentanyl is hard to deal with

Just holding a violent thug down is all without imposing injury.

did you watch the full body cam footage? I did. He wasn't on his neck he was on his shoulder, and he wasn't exerting hardly any force. floyd was talking and breathing the whole time until his heart gave out, a process which was already well under way before he ever got onto the ground.

Video we can debate. That YouTube says was not neck but upper back. Others say on this throat.

But the cause of death was not a knee to his back/neck/throat. Death was a heart issue contributed by the large cocktail of drugs in his system, a life of bad health choices, and, alluded but can’t deny, a stress event Floyd brought upon himself and compounded by officer.

You fricking moron. Read the autopsy. floyd died of an overdose. A pos criminal died being a pos and a productive citizen now sits in prison.

What if I told you that’s exactly how they were trained, and the authority figures in the police department and city were all black?

Weight was on the dude’s shoulder.

At any point were you ever curious why George Floyd was claiming he couldn’t breathe when he was in the back of a police car a few minutes before Chauvin tried securing him in the prone position?

If he was claiming breathing problems well before and after Chauvin kneeled, was the kneeling the real problem? Or was the breathing problems that occurred before Chauvin and Floyd had contact the real cause of death?

Use of force expert during the trial actually cleared Chauvin for more force.

Said based on the situation he could have used the next level. Chauvin used less threat which should at the very least have cleared him of murder.

Manslaughter maybe based on that.

He also stated where he was on his back from the other angle not typically shown he was not on the neck. If he was the autopsy would show blood vessel's bursting in a certain way.

As we know now after the autopsy is released it confirms that portion of the testimony.

Just as many if not more support criminals because of the color of their skin.

The rules and laws shouldn't apply to someone whose long distant and dead relative may or may not have been a slave to someone white.

Does it work the same way that LE goes into a neighborhood to investigate a murder and bring the criminal; to justice for the family and everyone that witnessed the crime or knows who and why it happened keeps their mouths shut because F cops, we don't talk to them... ???

Everything you say about LE behaviour can be applied to the ones they are always having to deal with on a daily basis.

If Ole' George was white this never would have been an issue.

Now let's talk about all of the AA shootings that took place this past weekend and how many of those shootings resulted in AA's killing other AA's................................................then get back to us.

Don’t do drugs, don’t have a checkered past, don’t be a multiple offender, don’t try to kill a pregnant woman, don’t resist cops.

Sooo you didnt watch the full video of him resisting and fighting his way out of the car long before the knee.

I hate dumb fricks like you who form an opinion on something you're uninformed about.

Seriously. Get all the facts or shut the frick up.

Chauvin did everything but light a cigar and pose for a picture while kneeling on the man's neck. (Yes, I had a cop friend do this during an arrest. He was not a cop much longer after that).

Did Chauvin kill him? Probably not. But his behavior was hardly laudable.
