Absolutely nothing about that was a prank. You can't just physically attack a random person for shits and giggles, and think that everything will be fine.

A few things are absolutely true.
That kid has never ever been in an actual physical confrontation. His entire world has shunned violence to the extent that someone being violent to him even though he is threatening their life seems like an impossibility to him.
After being on the receiving end of the violence the prankster instigated, he wont ever do this again.
Most of the folks posting in this thread have been on the receiving end of such violence and readily delivering violence to anyone that approaches them like this seems like the only reasonable response.
That kid is lucky he didn’t end up dead.
