You guys (OP), are obsessed with LeBron. It's insane how many posts are dedicated to him. Who cares?

Yes they did. The Spurs in 2014 were really good.

The first two guys you could argue… maybe you could even put Wilt above LeBron or something…
But you’re last 7 on the list are a huge reach to put it nicely
Thanks for letting everyone know you aren’t a good at evaluating bball without your political goggles on!

Bron living rent free in most their heads lol — they’ll downvote this but it’s true…
I knew LeBron was rich but who knew he owned so much property here on MSB!

A low effort response.
If that were the case, wouldn’t Kareem be ranked lower?

I don't understand the LeBron hate ?
If you've watched the NBA over the last 20-35 years, how many people can say they've had a better career than LeBron?
How many players have had a bigger impact on the game?
20 seasons. He's still an elite-level player at 38 years old. He's played the game the right way since day 1. He tries to make the right basketball play.
Do I think he's the greatest of all time? No. That's MJ for me.
But - LeBron has been a great NBA player since the day he was drafted.
He's never been in trouble. He's been available and dominant for his team year in and year out.
And no one entered the league with higher expections and more pressure on them than LeBron. And he has exceded those expectations.

Whether LeBron is overrated or not depends on what is being rated best career or best player (i.e pick one player to go win a championship series).
For best career, it’s not possible to overrate LeBron. Strong argument as the greatest career. I would still take Jordan or Kareem but LeBron deserves to be in that stratosphere because his career individuals accomplishments, championships, accumulated stats, and productive longevity.
If you are ranking the best players, LeBron is further down my list. But still one of the best to ever play the game - I would just take Jordan, Bird and Kareem as no doubters over LeBron and I would take Wilt, Duncan, Kobe, Hakeem, Shaq, Magic, and Steph over LeBron. But I view that as a very subjective debate and would don’t think it is outrageous for someone to rank LeBron ahead of some of those.

Dude had a lot of pressure on him out of high school and lived up to the hype. Remember what he did with those crappy Cavs teams.
A man that has 3+ rings is not overrated.
Kevin Durant might be overrated though.

I’m not reading the his whole thread but anyone that says Lebron is “overrated” is being an irrational hater.
I admit I find Lebron unlikable and easy to root against (and for those that says it because he speaks out on race, I like Kareem and his views were far more radical) but he is one of the best players of all time there is no question.

If Lebron was a franchise he’d be 6th in most titles and 4th in finals appearances

Larry Bird. People only love him bc he is white.
Not surprised by all the downvotes but these two had remarkably similar careers. James' playoff shooting percentage is probably a little higher (it would be tough to be any lower than Bird's) but ultimately, their numbers are probably as close to identical as you get.
So if LeBron is overrated, it'd be hard to argue that Bird was not (and anyone arguing that either was overrated is being dishonest or dumb...or both)

And magic which has 5 titles and is better than Lebron.

No doubt that is impressive.
Russell would be higher.

Russell also played when there were only 8-10 teams and the sport overall was less popular so far fewer talented players. He’s an l time great to be sure but not in the same tier as Jordan and James
