Not at all. Just denotes something unique, which is literally a central point to his argument about the bubble.

Even if I accept this, winning doesn't mean titles. That's just one smaller component of an overall view of "winning".

With the bubble being grossly different than any other time in nba history, it can not be included.

Same as playing in a league with fewer than 30 teams.

So, you're saying they were due for an injury or 2?

With nearly 20 games left in the regular season if the pandemic didn’t happen, I’d still say it’s doubtful.

There is a wide gulf between uniqueness and the mathematical equivalent of crowing a champion 1-2 months into the next season.

Please name one that comes close.

It’s not 20. It’s 20 plus playoff basketball. Where AD missed the next two years.

No, because the playoffs didn’t start 140 days after the regular season ended.

It’s a rather large component, but good to see you’re coming around.

If you want to argue precedence, AD has only had 1 DNP in 56 postseason games, so based on this history you want to keep talking about, the only risk was AD missing a few of the handful of regular season games left, because all of history says he was going to be available for playoff games.

They were the second oldest team in the nba that season and their star was 35 years old. Their second best player is also very injury prone. Keep acting like extra rest wasn’t very beneficial for that team though

Dwight Howard played significant minutes as did Rondo, Green and Morris in the playoffs.

2 Hall of Famers(not at their peak but still pretty darn good) and another dude who'd win Finals MVP the following season.
