Exactly, anyone trying to count Russell titles in the same way as Jordan or lebron is just really really missing some important context

If you truly believe this, you are really stupid.

Gotcha. So expansion = legitimacy in attempt to discredit Russell, to prop up Jordan and James? Kareem played from 69 to 89, while the ABA was going on in the 70s..so any title while the ABA existed doesn’t count?
bird won 3 before the Hornets/Pelicans, Magic, Heat, Grizzlies, Raptors and Bobcat/Hornets existed…so they must not count.
If that’s the case which franchises have world championship and how many?

"All titles should be equal. Wait no, not that one."
Just contradicting yourself left and right here.

You can attempt to spin a false narrative, but I’m not contradicting myself at all.
The bubble doesnt count, I’ve listed the legitimate reasons why it doesn’t. Your interpretation of said reasons is solely based on what you’re perceived as an “anti” arguement for a particular player and as you view me as an “anti Player X” guy, as opposed to the actual facts of the situation.

Come on I'm a lifelong LeBron hater but he's clearly 2nd best

Meh whether you want it to count or not, it’ll be added to LeBetterThanYou’s ring total by most taking heads on TV…
At least your unapologetically thanos or something tho!

You are 100%, directly contradicting your logic.

And you just listed legitimate reasons why titles before the final expansion didn't count, also.
Which one are you going with?

which of those postseasons had an off-season of rest before the playoffs started?

Larry Bird. People only love him bc he is white.
Lmao he was the GOAT in his prime. His nickname being Legend is correct. He is the definition of Legend. There will never be another as great as he was. He wasn't just clutch. He was a stone cold assassin.
Ask Pat Riley what he thought of Bird.

Idiosyncratic qualifier.
How many titles did Jordan win with 30 teams? 29 teams?
Just as idiosyncratic of a qualifier.
Again, which one are you going with, since you chose to use idiosyncratic qualifiers to deny what the record books say.

Every single team got rest before the bubble. It’s an even playing field.
The lakers were also #1 in the west at the time of the pause.
Just because you are coming up with excuses doesn’t mean they are reasonable.
The fact this thread is this long just shows how ate up some of you people are with Lebron. I get loving MJ and not liking Lebron because you think he’s racist and a phony but his talent and results are undeniable.
He’s the unquestioned #2 player ever. And statistically it’s debatable to say #1
Why do you think multiple times a year for the last 5 years there are constant debates on sports shows and on this website of MJ vs Lebron?
Because there’s no one else in the conversation. It’s Lebron and MJ at the top. Everyone else is looking up

You're responding to a guy who has Kobe over Lebron for...reasons.

That’s not what’s in question here. It’s 2020 vs the rest of nba history. No other postseason had an 4.5 months of rest between the end of the (shortened) regular season and the playoffs. That’s what makes it illegitimate. It’s the equivalent of crowing a champion the first month of the season.

a mere deflection. Your answer was zero, but you won’t admit it. If not, then the nba should always do that, correct?
