My wife and her sister are watching this shite. It is insane. Kind of like Hoarders…. We are all voyeurs to the severe mental illness of people who have no business on TV.
They showed this woman in the shower (blurred, thank God). And then I said, out loud, “She complains about being fat but I bet she’s about to eat a dozen donuts.” And then they show her sitting back in the recliner and eating a dozen donuts. I am fricking clairvoyant.

If you watch reality TV I just assume you're a moron. No offense to your wife.

Most of these people have spouses. Think about that.

Dr. Now is the man
Some of his brutal one-liners make the whole series worth watching.

I enjoy the portion of the show when the patient has to move from their current home to Houston. It seems like they always live several days away via minivan. The travelers hit one fast food drive thru after another on their trip to Houston.
It’s pretty amazing when the patient takes Doctor Now seriously and they actually shed a lot of weight. It doesn’t happen often but still…

If you’re 330lb and watching this show, you feel pretty good about yourself.

My Vietnam vet grandfather does a perfect Dr. Now impression.

The people who should feel guilty are their enablers who keep bringing them fast food. They complain about their family member's weight, yet are the first to go out and get them Pizza or burgers when told to

have you seen the hoarders episode where the lady's house is full of jugs of her shite?

have a friend who is a high risk delivery OBGYN which is mostly obese people
she has some pretty horrific stories, but I asked her once how the hell these massively obese people even get pregnant in the first place because logistics don’t make sense
she told me “the broomstick method”… apparently the fatties hold a broom/mop/whatever under their flab and pull back to lift up so their partner can go to town
but for extremely obese they get friends/family to each hold an end of the stick to help pull the flab up. so there’s “enabling” and then there’s holding up your daughters obese flab so she can have sex enabling

That show can be summed up in one meme:

I watched some of it on YouTube, not sure why. It's pretty disgusting. They had these two sisters both trying to get the band. The fatter of the two was so big she had a fat roll on her forehead, never seen that before. And she got online and this skinny black dude showed up to be her boyfriend and kept sneaking her food because he liked them big. Crazy stuff
