it has nothing to do with the movie.

their youtube critic told them it was gone be full blown wokeness and the movie would fail because of it.

when people say the movie is actually decent they take it as an attack against their critic and the agenda that they push/follow.

this movie couldve been a 10/10 and they would still try to nitpick it to point out it sucks because disney=woke.

Here’s a poll on reddit. Fairly positive.

Reality is that most of you have allowed the assholes in Hollywood to completely destroy your value of what is a good movie.

Make an atrocious film like Crystal Skull and anything after it would be seen as “good”.

What has happened is that it wasn’t as bad as many expected l, so now it is somehow “pretty good”. That is why they will continue to shove mediocre to bad shite to all of us because many have just accepted their garbage as okay.”

The ratings across the board are all bullshite (good and bad). There is no legitimacy in them because they are bought and paid for in most cases.

I enjoyed it. Doesn't hold a candle to the first 3, of course, but it's better than almost every other movie released this summer. Then again, I'm >50 yrs old, makes me feel good to see an old timer as a leading man. The last bit with Indy and Marion was a tear jerker.

Old timer pulling for the older guys is fine, if it's Tom Cruise. Or Michael Keaton as Batman. But 80 yr old horse riding and wall climbing Harrison Ford crying about his aching knee and back?


Please. From the very first movie, 40 yrs ago, he was beaten and battered.

No one's buying that he's running around like a freaking action hero now. Want context? Sean Connery was about YOUR age (58) when The Last Crusade came out. He wasn't tumbling around & fighting Nazis mano a mano.

Sure, he may have been playing a man in his late 60's, early 70's, but that's STILL about a decade younger than Ford is currently.

It was also a decent movie.

C'mon, the story is out now. It's a disaster of a script, makes no sense, and never needed to be made.

And PWB isn't selling anyone that she's 'the bestest evar!'. Her character had 1 job only - to neuter Indiana Jones and act as KK's personal insert as a FU to Spielberg.

I thought it was quite enjoyable. The ending left a bit to be desired and overall it could’ve been 20 minutes shorter, but it was a fun movie.

If actually watching the film and having an opinion on it that isn’t negative makes me a simp, so be it.
