LeBron James
Carmelo Anthony
Kevin Durant
James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Chris Paul

My first thought was aside from LeBron most of these guys just had great careers and only James is a lock. But they are all top 40 in scoring (1, 9, 20, 25, 27, 37) and the only retired player in the top 40 not currently in the Hall of Fame is Vince Carter who is likely to get voted in shortly. You think anyone else is worthy?

All of them will get in. It's the basketball hall of fame.

They are all locks for HOF. It is the easiest HOF of the big 3 sports to be induced into by far

I have a hard time seeing any of these guys not get in. I'd say LBJ, Melo, KD, and CP3 are locks. Harden and Westbrook I'd be shocked if they didn't get in as well.

I was supposed to be inducted last year but we can't get our schedules to line up.

Lol I assume this is a joke.

Every single one of the players you listed will easily make HOF

All of them also made the 75th anniversary team. A top 75 player of all-time is a lock to get it on the first ballot.

The think about the basketball HOF is that it's solely the NBA. It's the Naismith HOF which is why it includes women, college coaches, and impactful college players. Example, Grant Hill...would have been great in pros but career was riddled with injuries but arguably a HOFer beacuse of his college career.

I don't know if the NBA will ever adopt a NBA-centric HOF, but if they did all the names you mentioned are locks regardless.

Hall of Fame bar is clearly set too low

LeBron, KD, Harden, Westbrook are all MVP winners. That alone makes them easy locks.

Chris is also an easy lock. He was considered the best pg in the league for multiple years.

The one with the least likely chance of getting in is Melo. But even he is top 10 all time scoring. So he's basically a lock as well.

All of those players you listed are significantly better than Vince Carter. If you think he’s going to get in, all of those guys easily will.

Thought this was a, post the stats of players without names, thread. Glad it wasn’t. Those are so stupid.

I agree, but just for fun will argue Vince had a 3-4 year run early in his career in Toronto (averaging 25 ppg on 44/40/78) that almost rivals Carmelo's best runs in both Denver and NYC. But no doubt Carmelo had a much longer peak.

If it was just NBA, he might not get in. But he won a NCAA Championship, so he gets in.
