We can end the season winning 3 of the last 4 total 20-9. Isn’t that the prediction? Sky isn’t falling.

But if a we’ll be low average team chases our arms, it’s not going to bode well for our postseason chances.

Everyone is just bitter at what could have been with a healthy pitching staff.

I’d take it right now. A sweep at Georgia isn’t looking likely and we can still win the conference with that record. Arkansas, UF and Vandy all probably finish in a 3-way tie for 2nd place at 20-10.

With this bullpen and our wavering hitting I’m not overly confident we’ll get three more wins. Hell, I’d say only Thursday is comfortably in the win column.

Josh. You can’t say there isn’t a problem. I agree we can do 20-9 and this loss isn’t the end of the world but taken as a whole we have to be concerned with the bullpen in any 3 game series in a regional or Super.
Our hitting isn’t great at the moment. Maybe that’s just a moment in time or the lineup or focus. Fine. That’s usually an easy fix. But the pitching is suspect at the moment. Optimally someone finds a groove. I just don’t like this seemingly blind alliance Johnson and Johnson have in Cooper for example. That said maybe there isn’t anyone else they trust either.
Which reflects the problem long term. Sucks given the injuries. Maybe someone will have a light come on between Hurd or Little.

Of course there are issues, but those issues have been known for awhile. They arent new. The only issue tonight was hurd, and he has been great for the last month. He was due a bad outing.

We allowed 3 walks. Every single run they scored was earned. Sometimes teams are just able to to hit at an insane clip. See LSU last night. Only 1 of the free passes came around to score.

Until a serious attitude adjustment occurs, and the team starts playing with a real sense of purpose and direction, 17-12 looks far more likely than 20-9.
