Went to the local gas station and the cooler was full of A-B products. Hardly any Coors or Miller products left on the shelf. The aisle had plenty of warm Bud Light sitting there too. (Apparently, a lot of extra inventory just collecting dust.)

Learn something about beer. There are many styles of hops that aren't fruity. Try Hoppadillo or Sierra Nevada.

So pay more? I can’t imagine drinking something so god awful just because it’s cheaper. And if you’re that broke where you can’t maybe you shouldn’t be drinking anyways

maybe....and hear me out....there are certain beers for certain occasions. If I want to enjoy a totally full-flavored beer while being an absolute dick-cheese to other posters about which beer they're drinking, I'll go with a local brewery.

If I'm spending all day doing yard work, smoking a brisket, on a boat, etc.......then I'm probably going to grab a 30 rack for $20.

I'll never understand why people get so offended about how other people choose to spend their money.

You know, I kind of feel bad for the local distributor guys. They went from driving a beer truck to a queer truck through no fault of their own.

I like all kinds of beer, but there is a time and place for light beers. Have you ever tried drinking Sidecar with chicken wings and pizza? It's just not the same

Sierra Nevada

one of the hoppiest beers I've ever tasted. I will admit while drinking it you get the double sensation of feeling like you are mowing the lawn.

if that guy doesn't want really hoppy beer i'd recommend shiner bock

If by that guy, you mean beer snob, you were incorrect.

I was banned from posting in the beer threads after putting 12 coronas in a row for cinco De mayo a few years ago

I just think you should always buy local if the option is available.

exactly. I love ghost in the machine but outdoors hanging out with a bunch of friends boiling crawfish, I don't wanna drink 4 beers and then have gas the rest of the day.

Nope.

But three 34oz mugs of canebrake and 25 wings sounds delicious at the moment.

I went all in on big stouts (though I never liked the super sugary ones) and sours, and now I'm back to mostly light lagers (of many different styles).

There is a place for all styles. But a good light lager after toiling in the yard on a hot day is tough to beat.

Likewise, a well made coffee stout on a cool fall morning is pretty damned good too.

Why would anyone drink bud light when Miller lite exists

because many people, (myself included) absolutely hate Miller Lite. people drink whichever beer they grow accustomed to.

I've been drinking Bud Light for a very long time. I don't drink much beer these days, but since this started, I've been drinking Yuengling Lt. If a place doesn't have Yuengling, I'll switch to Coors.

IF it were to come down to Bud Light or Miller Lite, I'll have a scotch.

Why would one need to drink 24 beers in a night?

this. I drank IPAs at a brewery on saturday. Had some white cans while fishing on Sunday. Might have something like a canebrake with dinner tonight.

Dude, I'm drinking to forget a multitude of issues, not taste the subtle undertones of cotton blossoms or whatever gay stuff y'all talk about.
