It’s “knew” and they will start when this line passes. Likely around 2:00.

That’s great but they will not start a in past 5:45

So we pitch fewer innings and go up huge.

How come they can’t play Sunday?
Posted on 4/15/23 at 12:21 pm to tigger4ever
They have a charter flight leaving this afternoon

Games must be completed within 3 days per SEC rules

That’s why you play two Friday

When it’s a TFS scheduled series, the games have to be played within TFS.
This has been a rule for years. It needs a sticky every baseball season.

If we start at 2 that’s 3:45 to start the 9th j think we could do it. If they get a lead you know that frick UK coach will be taking 45 mound visits and pitching 37 guys

Or tonight, or tomorrow, or Monday. The message I get is these games don’t matter
Posted on 4/15/23 at 12:39 pm to upgrade
The rules need to be amended.
If you are playing a TFS series it should be able to go into Sunday just set a time line for when the game has to start on a Sunday.
Then add a new travel rule that doesn’t let teams schedule flights on Saturday nights if you have a TFS series.
The schools and conference have plenty of money an extra hotel stay isn’t going to bankrupt anyone.

They also knew that game can be played today once rain passes. 30 percent now theu tonight. If this wasnt the case a dbl header would have ensued yesterday. Come on man.

And what about the normal F-S-S series? You can’t hold that over til Monday so you can not have a different standard

Does UK have to agree to it? I doubt they wanted to play two doubleheaders within six days.

So you didn’t knew the rule of three days to play three games?

Charters by nature are fluid. That's why it's a charter. Hard deadlines, especially on a Saturday are ridiculous. Swift won't lose any money wherher they depart at 20Z or 00Z.
