Shores or Herring are my nominations for Sunday start.

Doesn't matter which one.
Excuse me while I call the dugout and let CJJ know what I'm thinking.
Hold my beer.

I'm fine with either, but either way, it thins out our already incredibly thin bullpen.

I’d rather them in the pen and just take the plunge with Edwards even though I like him in the pen.

They're gonna want them available on Friday/Saturday night if we have a shot at a win. My guess is he tries Little there next. Little has been bad but he does have arm talent. Try him in a different role

You just need someone that can get through 4 without getting totally shelled. Shores, Herring, or Edwards could probably do that.

Lester will come on here and tell you Shores will not start again.

And that's the issue. What happens lest night in a close game if shorts or Herring are starters on Sunday.

Agree, hate to see either be removed from that BP role that they are now really flourishing. Need some good fortune and Coleman to come back ready to contribute. He could be that guy, but I know we are likely a few series away from him throwing 4-6 IP.

I'd like to see Edwards get the chance to start

Today is probably an open tryout for the Sunday start. Whoever pitches best between Cooper, Little, Dutton probably start next weekend. Unless we just dominate Thurs Fri and don't need to use edwards/herring/shores

We just need our Sunday guy to eat up 5-6 innings and give up less than 6 runs. Gotta have someone other than edwards/herring who is able to do that

I don’t think Coleman will be able to go 4-6 innings at any point this season

But if he comes back and looks good that could free up Edwards or Shores to start.

Problem needs to be solved soon. Could spell the difference between winning or losing a Super Regional.

Nope…there current role is more effectively

A month ago I said that Shores would be in the weekend rotation before the end of the season and all you came back with was Hurd and Shores wasn’t going to this season.

I’ve wanted shores the the rotation for weeks. You clown
