What Music app do you use the most?

We do a lot of Youtube music videos on the TV through our "system" a lot of nights. We do this at least 2-3 days a week.
Recently I signed up for the Tidal app and I am impressed with the quality of the files. I never was a big Pandora or Spotify user but I have been using Tidal every day. '
Once we get moved in the new house, I will build a system and use Tidal on a streaming device...
Like the app so far and its not overly expensive...

Spotify only. It creates great playlists for you and it's easy to share music with friends. They don't have everything but just about. Still cracks me up how much Apple screwed this up.

I've used Tidal for a while. I really like it.

We mostly use Amazon Music, although I have thought about switching to Spotify. Not that there’s anything particularly wrong with Amazon, but Spotify gives you a more personalized music experience and shows off your listening stats for different bands, like for example, if I had Spotify, I would be in the top 1% of listeners for Lynyrd Skynyrd for 2023.

Spotify only.
This, I also love the end of the year wrap ups but I do wonder about the accuracy sometimes of it

I've been using Apple Music for a few years now and I like it. Before that I used Spotify and liked it too. Not sure why I made the switch but I have no complaints about either one...

I've only ever used Spotify because it's all I want in a music service. My only issue with it is that I wish their shuffle was a true shuffle, not some algorithm.

Youtube music
The YouTube music app is straight garbage and a total step down from the Google Play Music app it replaced. The shuffle feature on playlists will often play the same artist's songs back to back to back. when connected to bluetooth in my truck the app will often glitch out. I can't just pay for an individual song to download like the google app allowed me to do.
I hate it so much, but I'm kind of held hostage because once the transfer from google to YouTube happened, I could no longer back up my songs on a hard drive.

When I’m at home, I use YouTube music a lot to stream music videos to my tv’s.
In my car, I use my itunes mp3’s playing through bluetooth
At work, I use pandora because it’s the only site that gets through the work filter.
If I was going to pay for an app, I would use Spotify

Yes. It's very repetitive. It just doesn't do a good job of actually mixing songs.
I kinda like one of the new features that let's you link up with friends and it will make a mix of what everyone's listening to.
Again though, it's very repetitive and does this weird thing where if you're listening and go into the app, it immediately re-shuffles the songs every time. So if a song comes up you don't like and you want to go see what else there is, or maybe saw a song you want to listen to that's coming up after the song you don't like, that song's not going to be there because the entire thing continues to reshuffle when you look at the list.

I haven't noticed an improvement.

Spotify. I've had it since the app was available. Their interface always works well and is very intuitive. I can't see myself ever switching. I've used Amazon music and it is very clunky compared to Spotify.
