Aren’t they cutting it to increase volume?
Why would you cut it with fentanyl when you could just use extremely cheap baking soda?

Because if you cut it with just baking soda, you lose your customers who label your stuff as weak. If you cut it with fentanyl, you're still delivering a high while adding volume to the product -- and only losing your customers through occasional fatal attrition.

It's sad people have no idea what they're putting in their bodies these days.
You think your going out for a little fun on a business trip and instead you family gets to read about you ODing with a couple of methed out hookers.
The rise in older people ODing from fentanyl laced prescription meds they dough in Mexico is alarming as well.
People are just too trusting, sad as it is people out there are trying to kill you with this crap.

There is without a doubt a fentanyl epidemic. If you go out west its very obvious. But its not a "laced" problem, people are buying fentanyl as an opioid replacement.
No even the dumbest street level dealer is going to cut something he is going to sell with something that he can also sell.

Unless they just want to kill the person, what’s the reason? Even if fentanyl is cheaper or available it can’t be good to kill your customers.
On the contrary, addicts are always looking for the strongest shite. OD’s = strong shite. If a batch causes a bunch of OD’s that’s like an advertisement to the streets. That reasoning may sound stupid to non-drug addicts but that’s just how it is. They don’t care if people are dying off it. They just know it’s gonna get em super high.

Those are 2 completely different highs, though. It really doesn't make sense.

Yep.
Unfortunately, people dying is a sign that their source is who they need to flock to.

Or a new dealer hopes someone realizes there's something else in it that they like-it made them feel different than the regular stuff they had been getting. They find out it's fentanyl, and boom! A new drug to get hooked on. Gotta go back for more dat!

That dude looked too Athens fratty to be a heroin guy. Was looking to do white boy coke and got mexican fentanyl'd. There's no such thing as casual drug guys anymore.
My oldest kid is in 6th grade. I've already given him the talk and will continue to remind him constantly. People passing Adderall or Percocet's or something around at a party has just as much probability to either kick in or cause instant death.

More than likely the dealer used the same table to cut coke and other drugs resulting in unintentionally contaminating his coke with fentanyl.

Holy shite the media!
A night in downtown BTR killed this man.
For fricks sake. He was an addict.
No mention that he was an addict.
‘Died Scoreing’ would be my headline.

What was the gf thinking calling out BRPD? She had to know what Nate was capable of.

I am not saying fentanyl laced coke is an urban myth, but it seems to be approaching that threshold. Something doesn't add up. Its not like there is an epidemic of white Gen X dudes dropping like flies from fentanyl overdoses, and you can bet they are the primary customers for blow.
There have certainly been enough cases to scare people and I do believe there is a risk, but nothing approaching the risk of getting it in say heroin.
As for this particular case, the more that comes out, the more it reveals this dude was a heavy drug/hooker user to the point a fentanyl high may have been his drug of choice that night. I mean, its a pretty big chasm between some rails off the back of a toilet seat and walking over a mile to search out a shooting gallery with a black pimp and two strung out hookers.

I am not going to say it never happens but people buying coke aren’t looking for fentanyl cut in or recent ODs to find good shite

I've done a lot of weird shite. But never shot up. Glad you're still here. Somehow i survived my hookers and blow years. Now, my only vices are gambling and booze. Feels good to be reformed. Gummies were a key to my success story.Kept me from turning to blow when I drank
