It's been tough here in Waco to see how far the Lady Bears have fallen, but it was expected. Baylor knew what they had in Kim but the politics here at Baylor would not bow to her.

Nikki Collen is a great coach in year 2, but she is no Kim. They will be in the mix for the Big 12 championship every other year and that's about it.

I love that LSU is an immediate powerhouse at just having Kim present... and we haven't even seen how fiery she can get. just wait....

She got this team here basically through hustle and a stronger mentality.

If it was possible to give this team to the top 10 coaches across the country, Kim will be able to get the most out of them. She is an incredible person that excels in everything she undertakes.

She has far exceeded my expectations, and I've known her my entire life. I couldn't be happier to see her hard work pay off.

It’s the same feeling for us when skip Bertman let pat benry walk out the door. How do you just let a 27-time national champion coach leave your school? Lmao

And LSU's team won only 9 games the year prior to Mulkey getting hired.

Now I know the transfer portal and NIL help but still....that is a damn fast turnaround. (if only we had supported Fargas /s)

Just look how quickly she turned around Baylor when she got there, long before NIL and the portal.

Anyone with any understanding at all knew she was going to be very successful and in short order here.

She is very simply one of the 3 or 4 best women's coaches of all time. And that is not an exaggeration or hyperbole. it is FACT.

Her personality is like Pat Summit on Testosterone and amphetamines.
Good time’s watching her.
She might as well dress up she is the life of the party.

Also, anything that pisses off the woke hive mind makes me happy, and they HATE Mulkey.

What exactly did Mulkey say or do that brought on this "hate"? I mean it was quite obvious ESPN's crew in the studio (especially whomever was on the far left) made disgustingly petty and crude statements about Kim. When you attack someone on a personal level with crude snarky comments about"...if she could get her hair any bigger" WTF? That's just one example. Animosity on full display. But I never watch ESPN so I didn't realize their standards in journalism had reached such depths.

Let’s also be for real and face it most of us here typing couldn’t stand on the court with any these girls let alone the big one 55 she may put your arse in a headlock

You had me agreeing till you posted that crap. An average boys basketball team in Louisiana would beat the girls by 50 points. That not a knock on them. Just reality.

Not sure this is the whole reason, but it has been said that she told Brittany Griner to keep the gay thing under wraps while at very Baptist Baylor.. Pissed the NCAA lesbians off to no end... Take it for what is worth, but that is what I have heard.

Most coaches and media that actually cover the sport on a regular basis have nothing but respect for Mulkey. It's small section of people (being on Twitter makes it worse) that have amplified this animosity of her.

I’d say 10-15 years. She’s has adult children and is active with her grandkids, so I don’t see that being a concern as she continues to get older.

Imagine where LA Tech would be if she had been promoted to head coach. Whatever happened to the AD that made the colossal mistake to not hire her to replace Barmore?

You do realize that WBB still is a Bigger deal Nationally than Men’s Baseball for the most part.
The women being in the Final Four is great add for our Brand as a whole it as targets a whole other audience.
It’s very important to pay attention to women’s programs like SB WBB and Gymnastics.

Would some of us like the men’s to be in the Final Four over the women sure, but this is awesome too.
