Didn't make 20 minutes, acting was terrible.

It was a good show. Not the best acting, but well written.

How is this for teenagers? Don’t mind some profanity or mild sex but hoping to avoid a ton o tiddies and non stop expletives.

No boobs unfortunately. Was really hoping we'd get to see Rose's

Oh yeah, Roses quip about assuming “ the man gets to drive”, … The show is slowly becoming so damn cringe…
That was actually good, it made her look like an idiot when he said "because I assume i'm the only one trained in evasive driving"

Yeah. It was a good comeback and also relevant. And, while some of it was not very plausible, I was able to get into the story and am looking forward to season 2.

He’s a low level agent. But he seems to take orders from his witness /girl boss a whole lot of times on matters that he should be vastly more experienced / trained for. Reacher, Burn Notice , NCIS , etc.. did great at explaining the how & whys of things in the ‘business’. Here he acts like a rookie most of the time. Even the “experienced” agent (DB Woodside) looking after the VP’s hot daughter gets womansplained on things … it’s kinda pathetic.

Ooooo buddy, you didn't notice her crying? Wife and I made fun of it constantly.
What I appreciated from Rose was that she actually helped in fights. Usually the "victim" just stands there and does nothing when the bad guy and good guy fight. I was like "grab a rock and hit that MFer", Rose did just that. Was nice.
I think a real reason in the show was that Sutherland didn't do much is likely bc he is not an agent like this and he is trying to figure it out also. He is just a typical "beat cop" of the FBI. I wouldn't expect a patrol officer to be able to do what a detective or SWAT does. In reality, they just had bad writing.

I can't believe the actress playing the VP's daughter agreed to many scenes. Her "running" is in the container yard had me laughing out loud. Her faces when stressed and crying are cringe.
The plot kept my attention. But a lot of it was cheesy. Really loved at the end where Secret Service, Military, FBI, etc. are all holding there guns on Sutherland as he holds the president "hostage". But all of sudden Rose runs in and says something along the lines of "he's not the bad guy" and they just lower their weapons like "oh, well if this random chick who we just let run straight up to them in this highly restricted area at Camp David that was just attacked by bombs says he's cool, then he must be cool"

Must be later eps. Still going through it.

I'm not arguing against that. Just that one specific instance I thought was a good "stuff it in our own face" sort of way
Wife and I enjoyed it and will watch the next season. Most of you people are wayyyyyy to high & mighty when it comes to your shows/movies and I don't see how you frickers cannot relax and just enjoy something without purposely looking for holes to punch. Jokes on you if you are looking at these entertainment shows/movies to be life changing and 100% accurate.
SPOILERS....
If you want to laugh at silly point in the writing of this show then try when the VP lets his daughter out of the bunker. She had just told him that I will tell everyone what you did. Then he lets her leave. Just made absolutely zero sense like I'm not going to keep you in here because you are going tell, but I'll let you go early so you can tell. Maybe he didn't think she'd make it out in time, but that doesn't help the story much either if he was just going to let her die

The holes are already there. They're just that glaring.
How else would I enjoy similar type shows like Burn Notice, NCIS, Reacher, The Terminal List... I've said this before and it'll always hold true. There's a term, verisimilitude, which basically means (in this context) that given any fictional world, there's a level of believability that exists where events or scenarios feel real. As it pertains to the specific story.
Obviously in fictional stories, some artistic or creative license is granted. As long as things aren't too far out of sync, the viewer will buy into the story.
Some really big 'holes' would be like Galadriel (and others) taking a pyroclastic flow face first and not being baked alive. That's not how volcanos work. Ever.
To a lesser extent, 2 people digging a shallow grave while wearing designer leather jackets. (Ep 4 of The Night Agent ) I mean, c'mon... this is getting ridiculous.
Though not as ridiculous as every episode of the CW's Batwoman.

Decent enough show. It’s like a cross mix of a NBC and AMC show. The Diane actress is awful. She sounds like a boss from a video game.
Also one thing that bothered me was leaving the cabin and just parking on the side of the road. The assassins could’ve just as easily turned their direction when pulling out of that driveway.

Yeah, in BROAD DAY LIGHT!
Oh, there's plenty of such nonsense. Like going blindly into a house after 2 known assassins with a 3-man team and just leaving the KEY WITNESS all alone in a car, plain as day for anyone to see.
Peter had ONE job, and he totally left her alone and vulnerable. SMDH.
Real galaxy brain move there.

This is exactly what his thoughts were. She will die, I will be alone, with another kid lost, the public will eat it up and I will be Prez.
While there are tons of issues with the plot, as being pointed out in the thread, I'm a 24 fan so, this is slightly up that alley.

It was cheesy as frick and not very well acted but I’m still looking forward to season 2 for some reason.

Just finished and I’m a sucker for political thrillers but The secret service woman was very bad in the acting department and something about her facial expressions was distracting. Other than that I enjoyed it for what it was but did it ever explain the motivation for trying to kill the president? Also it went a little overboard at the end

Because she was stumping for the former terrorist. They took their shot at him and failed. So now they were going after her.

Yep
Terrible acting, esp the VP daughter and her SS agent
Dumb plot holes
Typical unnecessary inventions about the FBI, intelligence etc.
But I still mostly enjoyed it. Rose is hot.

I don’t get the young girl boss agents distain for the older agent. He literally took a bullet for POTUS & she rags on him for getting hooked on pain pills for his actions? He’s the holotype for every SS agent in the business.
This writing is garbage. I mostly like the casting, they’re just dealt a shite script & story.
