We're looking at building in the southwest corner of Pensacola in the next year or so. are there builders on here, or does anyone have a recommendation?

Good luck.

One of my nephews has a landscaping business somewhere in the panhandle and was telling me about how they can't bring soil/clay (for foundations, flowerbeds, etc) if you're within so much distance of the shore (10 miles, maybe?)

Perdido Key, or are you building across the bridge and telling everyone you live in Perdido Key?

We're doing the same, Innerarity Island. Our realtor is putting us together with a couple builders it's $350+/sq ft right now around here on new construction. Be interested to know what you find out. We're not scheduled back down there until late April so it'll be a min before we meet with anyone. I'll try to post back some names and how it goes after our initial meetings.

Just sold our place in Lost Key. That place is an overcrowded, hoa, karen nightmare of a community and building 90+ more townhomes to add to the crowd!

If you are right next to the Gulf, you might want to buy some tall arse stilts to build on.

Innerarity Island.

I built a house down there in 2007. High and dry on the south side of the island high ground but only 100ft from the bay. Miss that place.

That’s got to include the land, right? Right?

No sir, I wish it included the land. We're hoping to get closer to $300/ft but it ain't looking good.
