Didn't Zion's contract include weight clauses? When/how often does he have to get on a scale?

Yes but as I understand it, if he doesn't hit the mark, it just makes his contract non guaranteed which just means the only way we benefit from it is if we release him.

Honestly, this organization is cursed.

No matter the owners, coach, or players, it's the same story.

Get lottery pick, draft young superstar, piece together a competitive roster, no one stays healthy, stars move on and the whole process begins again.

I'll never take the Pels seriously.

Well BI is still an all star, CJ is awesome, and we have solid young talented players in Dyson, Trey, Herb, and Jose. Let’s trade Zion and get what we can for him to build around those guys. We honestly are a rim defender and two shooters off the bench from a championship caliber team.

You'd be selling incredibly low where the risk/reward is not worth it at all. Terrible idea.

You also tried telling us we could only "possibly" win 5 of our last 20 games, and we already have 2 more wins than you predicted just 4 games in.

Zion looked to be in relatively good condition on the bench. Hopefully Pels get him back for the last eight games or so …. they dont call Windhorst “Windy” for nothing.

Well you also did a game by game breakdown, and you're already 2 games off on your predictions when you flipped out on me, so you're already behind, just like I told you you'd be.

AD was on a local podcast this week and said Zion has been working hard in the pool. I was glad to hear they have a pool at the practice facility.

Got this from the Elite board, which people tell me is where Scoop B had been getting his good injury info.

So, someone reached out and told me he should be doing some of the basketball stuff by the next evaluation on March 22nd. Making an April 1st return a possible return date, in a best case scenario

The question is, is this an April Fools joke in advance?

Also, April 1st would be at home against the Clippers with 4 games left in the season after it.

I'd be thrilled if he's back by April 1st, if we are still in play-in position that is. If they do make the playoffs with a healthy Zion, this could go down as a rare 1v8, 2v7 upset.

Zion coming back from a long layoff and fighting the Denver altitude wouldn't be ideal.

I really want to take out Memphis.

Outside of the Lakers, they're a really hard team to like.

I was actually planning on going to the April 1st game, have a friend coming in town that really wanted to go to a game.

Better get tickets before they announce any return timeline.

happened to my 1 seed Philadelphia warriors. Boston was 4 seed. they had starters out injured and were all back. terrific games by wilt vs Russell decided at the rim.
Russell won. again.

Memphis is most likely not finishing 2nd in the West though unless Morant is only out for another week or so. That is of course possible but I doubt it - especially since he could be suspended when he does return to the team. With that said, we would have to finish outside of the play-in territory to play them in the 1st round which seems highly unlikely.

Russell won ALWAYS. If anyone wants to watch an incredible documentary check out the “Bill Russell, Legend” doc on Netflix. Really good.
