Update on Physics Girl - Long Covid
According to her channel Physics Girl is suffering from ME/CFS due to complications of “Long Covid.”
My questions for the docs of the OT are:
Is this real or BS? Is “Long Covid” real or is this just a catch all for symptoms related to vaccine complications? What’s going on here? Is it chronic fatigue or debilitating anxiety?
OT trigger warning: the video is full of teary people wearing cloth masks and hiding in darkness and other Covid related drama.

Is “Long Covid” real
Covid is known to cause small ischemic strokes. People probably have long term emotional and memory issues associated with these events.

Says she’s physically not strong enough to read texts by herself.
How is that even possible?
And was she vaccinated?

Post-viral illness is nothing new and people usually get over it eventually.
I had an awful flu in 2001 and it took me 6 months to fully recover. I know a doc who was in rough shape for almost two years after a virus.

Long covid is definitely real. For some folks, certain symptoms never seem to go away after a bad battle with the disease.
I almost died from Covid in August 2021. I am not exaggerating. By the time I went to the hospital, I could barely remain conscious just sitting up and lacked the strength to walk more than a few feet.
For me, I still had brain fog for months after getting over covid. The fatigue slowly faded, but took probably 2 or 3 months to get past (that first month was murder). I still was dealing with significantly reduced lung capacity 5 months later. While I never had the vaccine, I was treated at the hospital with an antibody infusion.
Physics girl seems to have something much more severe than I did which isn’t going away. I don’t know if it’s her milking sympathy combined with depression or if it’s real. Seeing as I have experienced some similar issues, I’m tempted to believe that her symptoms are real, and that the cause is covid and/or vaccine related.

I sympathize with those still suffering

My cousin was diagnosed with long Covid. We were really worried because he was in a high risk group due to his fibromyalgia. Luckily he was able to get the doctors to increase his oxycotton prescription and he said it cured most of his long covid symptoms but he still coughs a little bit when he hits his medical marijuana bong

I think she’s scamming people.
And why not? People are willingly giving her $1,000 donations.

my wife's reaction to covid itself was just like a mid tier flu, but her brainfog was a strange phenomenon. just a couple of weeks though she would just space out periodically and not remember a lot of conversations we had.
there were a couple of days where she taught and parents had to get clarification because the kids didn't understand her lesson and she would backtrack and have no idea what she had said in class. no failures so it didn't hurt her, but it was wild.
