Pronounce his last name … Bro

On top of his athletic ability…he carries a 4.4 GPA. He is quiet and will definitely be a gift as far as his character goes. He went from 230 to 255 and you can’t really see it.

Everyone thought he was a lock for Duke but…

And got embarrassed by UGA(though there's no foul in that, they're kind of good). Don't think this take is a bad one at all if his reported size is true but some of our other commits do beg the question of what the plan is in regards to keeping pace talent wise.

Sounds like a kid who is going to blow up on offers this year

His film is very good and he wants to be a Tiger. Good enough to me. Welcome aboard.

Anyone worried about him being a 3 star need to stop worrying. He'll shoot up the rankings anyway.

We shouldn't be taking guys unless they have offers from the usual suitors. Do we not even try to get 4 and 5-star defensive front-seven guys unless they're from LA or TX?

We are not going to compete with UGA or Bama on a consistent basis if we keep taking players who are ranked in the 600's (24/7) and 800's (On3). If he were that underrated, he would have more offers.

You are basically saying we shouldn't be doing our own talent evaluations, lol. This is what you said without actually saying it "Let's have Bama and Georgia provide their offers and then go after those guys". Do you realize how dumb (and beta) that is? Our coaches get paid millions to find guys for our program. Our coaches are going to find the good local guys before anyone from Alabama, Georgia or anywhere else. I bet the guys getting offers from us right now will get offers later from those other guys because they are now going to be on their radar. We're in charge, not them.

Like who for example? You’re using UGA as a metric and we are currently #2 in 2024 on 247 behind them.

Step 1 is always to lock down the best Louisiana has.

Uhh... lol we're literally less than one full cycle removed from a class in which we landed a 5* EDGE from maryland and a top ~100 EDGE from Minnesota.

Ruston has 2 more defensive players that I think will blow up and possibly get offers. Mayfield and Guidry

What other commits?

I'm more worried about the finish than i am what they already took.

I think with the addition of Breaux from Ruston, I don’t know if they go after Guidry, but Mayfield is extremely talented.

The next big grab from Ruston will be Josh Brantley, QB … 6’3/205. If he has a consistent year this coming year, he could shoot up the charts. Huge arm and can move.
