Unbelievably, there are people that mistake want/won’t.
In southern dialect, a lot of people pronounce “want” like “won’t,” but now I see people spell it wrong, too. For example, someone will say: “I want do that” instead of “I won’t do that.”

One of our call center folks said someone was having a problem with "there" transaction, then my boss replied something along the lines of "makes since". I didn't say anything because I didn't want to lose my job. And no, neither were kidding.

Sets foot, not steps foot.
Intents and purposes not intensive purposes

I use swipe typing because it's faster and I don't have to look at the screen. Though it makes for a ton of typos. Whenever I see someone type "abs" instead of "and" I know they are swipers too.

What's worse. These are all correct.

The complex houses married and single soldiers and their families.
The man the professor the student has studies Rome.

I had a really good one with various versions of "to have" thoughout it. It drove one of my Mexican carpenters stark raving mad trying to make sense of it.
