Copy paper.
There are only a few manufacturers that make all the different brands. I interned as an engineering student in college at a paper facility. It was interesting watching them swap the wrappers and fill them all with the same paper.

There are 2 types of sugar. Sugar made from sugar cane and sugar made from sugar beets. The cheapest sugar could be beet sugar in some places. I suspect your intention was 'buy the cheapest cane sugar'.

Taco Bell is owned by Yum Brands which is a division of Pepsi Co.

Salt is included here… always buy the cheaper or store brand salt. All salt goes through the same process but just have a different label.

The old camcorder industry was the best example. Maybe 30 brands and only 3 or 4 suppliers. Then the heads that processed the ole tape were only built by 2 companies. That was way back...........

I have the latest model year for SQ washer and dryer. The washer is amazingly quiet. By comparison, the previous Maytag I had, and before that, an LG, sounded like jet engines taking off.

Motor oil.
Lots of different packages but very few actual refineries that formulate and bottle it.
I’m not saying there is no difference between all of it but depending on region Wal mart Super Tech can be bottled at a Quaker state oil plant for example.
