Interesting, not even slightly what I thought.

It's not very adherent to modern line up theory, but even still that's based on a 162 game scheduled and very marginal improvements.

Outside of alternating handedness and trying to max out specific guys ABs, the order of hitters isn't going to have huge effect on this team. Because of the depth.

Would’ve expected Morgan 2. No Pearson shows practice matters more than past production to JJ.

Jobert in the 2 hole seems a little odd. Damn strong lineup though.

I agree, Lester, I like Tre @ the 2 spot. He’s so good at getting that pitching count up. Give Crews and White an aggravated arm to face.

He's in a MASSIVE slump. I'm not sure snubbed is the right word.

Do you think it was Pearson and when he pulled the trigger on Jobert he just left it the same? That makes sense to me. I should say, that was going to be Pearson/Jobert’s spot regardless. I’m excited to see it work out and LSU to hang double digits tonight.

Really surprised to see Jobert at 2 and Crews not leading off but what a ridiculous 1-5

It's kind of funny that I feel we have it all figured out every year, but we are wrong again.

All of our brains together and none of us came up this lineup. Most of us missed on starters and or rotation as well.

Joubert should feast in that spot they will throw him strikes they don’t want him getting walked with Crews White and Morgan behind him. I love it

Not sure I like Jobert in the 2 hole but the rest is beautiful

I’m guessing Jay wants him in the lineup and getting as many fastballs as possible (Crews batting behind him). It’s still an interesting decision.

a healthy Morgan is gonna be scary this season
I really think he can get around 10 homers and should be able to stretch some extra bases now that he is healthy

In fairness we never have the same starters and order from game 1 on

This whole weekend and few weeks will be a lot of experimenting because we can get away with it. I think we'll see 3 completely different lineups this weekend in fact.

True, it'll be tough to figure out exactly what the lineup will be until we get to SEC play.
