Both of their first seasons records are not the same. One is 1-12 in the conference, the other was not.

This board doesn't like a single basketball coach in LSU history.

It's tradition.

That’s not true … there are several here that want to have Will Wade’s baby.

I don't think either one is a terrible coach. I do enjoy watching the squirming from people who said WW was a street ball no-coaching shithead. MM will probably turn it around given time, but you're seeing what bad coaching can really look like this season.

Why are people trying to defend a horrible performance.

They lost their only ammo against Wade’s coaching with that abysmal in bounds sequence last night

Ya hate to see it

Facts are still facts. Don’t get caught in the narrative

facts say he sucks. Better recruiting class twice over of what he is sitting at. And they will all leave. So it will be another bare bones portal season next year and more suck.

Transfer portal can raise teams up quickly and it will sink them even faster, especially for a sport where only 7 or 8 players will ACTUALLY impact the game.

He is burnt toast. Only reason not to fire him is monetary. They dug a hole with firing Wade and now they are just stepping on shite and smearing it.

God I'm sick of the excuse makers. WW inherited a dog shite team with cupboards bare from JJ also. There is no excuse for us to be THIS bad. WW for all the problems had a competitive team year one and upset Michigan in the Maui Invitational in his 4th game ever with LSU.

We don't know how good a recruiter Wade was because he bought them all....Mac doesn't have that luxury. Unless we use NIL, which we should.

Dale Brown could motivate a team of nobodies to play way over their potential, and could undercoach a massively talented team to lose to a team of nobodies.

But he went to two Final Fours and beat Kentucky 18 times, more than anyone. Quite simply, Dale was LSU basketball.

The thing I've been most disappointed with in regards to McMahon aren't necessarily the X's and O's stuff (though I do think that hasn't been that great), it's the actual COACHING aspect. Way to often this year we've seen guys not know where they're supposed to be offensively, we've seen guys running different defensive schemes on the same possession, we've seen a lack of communication on both ends of the floor, etc etc etc. Things that aren't impacted by a lack of talent.

OMG. All of the big boys are paying players. Wade still had to outrecruit other coaches in selling the program to recruits when they had similar deals on the table from those schools.
