Will be in the quarter in a few weeks with a large group of teenagers and their families for a volleyball tournament. Any recommendation on a place that could handle a group of ~25? Could be counter service vs a sit down meal..

Antoines has a ton of rooms that could accommodate a group that size, but what is the budget? I know Deanies also has some private rooms.

Is there a reason you can’t leave the French Quarter?

Antoine’s and Muriel’s can accommodate you I guess.

We’re a large group coming out of Houston, so probably easier to find a place within walking distance. Hotel is Mariott off on Canal.

We’ll be there 4 days and the team tries to do one team meal together (but yeah the thought of 25 at a sit down restaurant is always fun)

Arnaud's has many private rooms of varying sizes. The few times I have done that, they have done a good job with it.

I would recommend Bourbon House. They have great food and they can probably accomodate a large group if you make reservations.

You really shouldn’t insist on eating with 25 people to be honest. That’s going to be difficult.

It’s actually the one thing the big sprawling old line French Quarter restaurants remain relatively well equipped to handle. Antoine’s, Arnauds, Brennan’s would be good choices. Even Galatoires has gotten into the game.

No you’re gonna get a great cutting edge cuisine, but it may actually be the best way to eat at some of these places and ensure getting a nice solid meal.

It’s a volleyball team tho. A bunch of 15yr olds are going to show up in sweat pants & flip flops after a match

I go to a luncheon every year at the Bourbon House. The have rooms upstairs with retractable walls that can make the dining rooms as big or small as they want. I would recommend them for things like this.if you are looking for a good mid level restaurant- not too fancy and not too downscale.

Mandina's may be able to accommodate your group and you could take the street car down Canal to get there.
