How far do you think we can move up in playoff seeding?

With news of Steph being out multiple weeks and Dallas now having to adjust adding Kyrie, I think our odds of getting a top 6 seed increase a ton. We’re getting healthy, and I think a team like phoenix could fall due to instability in the organization. I see the Kings stumbling down the stretch as well, I see the 4 seed being realistic. Maybe I’m flappin too hard, but it’s hard not to

I think we will settle in the 4th or 5th seed, IF we avoid month long injuries.

We're 2.5 games behind the 3 seed with one of the easier strengths of schedule remaining. If we don't get back in the top 4 it probably means we had another key injury.

Easier remaining schedule and 1.5 games separate the 4 seed from the 8 seed.

No reason we cant if we keep one or both of BI/Zion the rest of the way.

3 seed. This assumes Zion is healthy.

Anywhere from 2-4, likely 3-4

If we are healthy, 2 is catchable if Memphis continues to slide. Don't see Nuggets losing grip of 1st.

1. Nuggets
38-17

2. Grizzlies
33-21

3. Kings
30-23

4. Clippers
31-26

5. Suns
30-26

6. Mavericks
29-26

7. Warriors
28-26

8. Pelicans
29-27

9. Timberwolves
29-28

10. Jazz
27-28

11. Thunder
26-28

12. Trail Blazers
26-28

13. Lakers
25-30

14. Spurs
14-40

15. Rockets
13-41

I see the Kings being the Kings and sliding and the Warriors as well just because I don't trust them without Steph. I think the Mavs are unknown because Kyrie is a cancer but if his head is on halfway straight, he makes them better. I can honestly see the Suns falling back a little too. I think the ceiling is actually #2 because we can clearly make a run when healthy and Memphis can clearly look bad when healthy. The floor is probably #6.

Also have to respect the Wolves as well because when they get KAT back they could be dangerous.

Are we going to be healthy for once or more of the status quo?

3 seed would be nice so we don’t have to play nuggets until WCF

Only two teams remotely scare me in the West. Denver and Memphis.

Denver for sure, but you misspelled Golden State. Unless you’re talking about on the team bus. Then Memphis scares everyone.

If we get out there and take care of business, top 6 is very doable.

Hell, 1st in the west is very doable given our schedule provided BI and Zion are healthy.

We're 9.5 back with 26 to go, it would be a minor miracle if we got the 1 seed. Maybe not so minor.

For example...Even if we went 20-6 the rest of the way which is doubtful, Denver would have to go 10-17 for us to pass Denver. And that doesn't factor in all the other teams ahead of us, if they match or nearly match 20-6 that we wouldn't top.

To take that a step further, if we finished the season 26-0, there's still probably less than 50% chance we top Denver, because they'd have to go 17-11, which I'd guess they have better than 50% odds of doing.

But short of Jokic getting hurt, we have nearly zero shot at jumping Denver.

I think if we can maintain health post asb the 6th seed should be our floor with a decent shot at 4th and 2nd and 3rd possible if things broke our way.

Going into this season I think every rational poster would be ecstatic with a 4th seed finish.

I would love us to get the 5th seed and kings get the 4th. I think we match up well with them and we would destroy them if healthy

Think we’ll be fighting for 6th tbh. At best we barely get 5th.

5th is the absolute ceiling, and that's assumning a clean bill of health the rest of the way...
