Had guests coming over at 4PM so took a nap from noon till 2. I’m only 32 so worried by the time I’m in 40s I’d rather not have guests at all

I find it nearly impossible to take naps. I’m 38.

you wont be worried about it when youre in your 40s. Youll be worried about how soon they'll leave

What you did was prepare like a grown man!

In my 40s I learned schedule a recovery day of vacation after big events.

I take off Ash Wednesday every year for example b/c I know I'm going to be on my feet and drinking all day on Fat Tuesday.

it's hard for me to take naps and I'm an old fart, I always feel like I'm wasting time or missing out on something

I've started playing the closing songs from bars in my house when I want people to go home.

Sinatra: New York
Sweet Caroline
Take me home country roads
The Party's over.

I like naps. I don’t feel like I’m missing out. I feel like I enjoy everything else better when well rested. It’s all in the mindset

when I was working all over the world and dealing with numerous time zones and wonky hours I was very good at being able to nap on demand, not I just don't seem to feel the need, maybe that will eventually kick in

I love naps. I walked 18 holes yesterday and took a 90 minute nap with my puppy on my chest and the Pebble Beach golf coverage in the background. It was glorious. I wish I could take another nap today.

I despise naps. I can't shake it off and it ruins the rest of the day.

That's a tough maneuver when you are having guests over to your house like OP
