I mean everyone knows Trump likes to embellish his stories.
But the story that Trump made Ron Desantis is as close to a fact as anything can be.
The whole of the Republican establishment in Florida including every single county commissioner had endorsed Desantis' opponent in the primary.
I'm not saying Desantis owes Trump anything. That's for others to decide but anyone debating Trump's impact on that race is a moron.
Ron Desantis won because of Donald Trump's endorsement. Not even Desantis would deny this.
