Fried pork chops - do you use flour or cornmeal?

I’ve heard of both ways being done. Honestly, I think you could crush up printer paper and use that to coat the pork chops and it’d still be good.

I typically use flour, but a bit of cornmeal mixed in for some crunch would be fine with me. I love fried pork chops.

I’ve used panko my last few times and really enjoyed it. Normally I’m using 50/50 cornmeal and flour

Not about the coating, but for fried pork chops, the loin end is best,,,,not center cut,,,,,too dry

I prefer a higher flour content in everything I fry but I always add cornmeal for the crunch factor.

first off I use pork steaks much better than chops for frying season with good cajun seasonig in advance then dust in corn starch to dry em a bit and set the seasoning then seasoned egg wash then seasoned either flour or corn flour like zaterans fish fry either way crisp and wonderful

We get the big pack of pork filets at Costco. I cut them up and make fried pork strips.
Flour, pan fried, heavy seasoning, usually Tony's.
I love fried pork chops.
Greatest breakfast biscuit ever is the pork tenderloin buscuit at Country BBQ in Greensboro. Huge pork chop filet, fried nicely on a homemade biscuit. It's huge and goooood.

Me neither. Corn meal is only for fried fish in my house. Corn flour for fried chicken and straight seasoned flour for fried pork chops.
