Finally back into the gym this morning after a two week hiatus.

30 minutes in I felt sick and went to the parking lot and threw my guts up. Get home and my wife is also sick. Hope this ain't a stomach bug.

Sex is great, sure. But have you ever put down heavy dumbbells at the end of a deadlift/farmers walk superset?

W3D1 of The Mullet down. Enjoying the different variations of deads in this program (regular, sumo, snatch grip). Definitely feeling thicker up top in the shoulders and back, legs and chest are maintaining

2 buddys have been running it with me and this is our first PPSA. Think we’re going to do Oak Tree next month

Just bought Brick House for overall balanced strength and mass. I’m excited and scared at the same time.

Brickhouse is one I really want to try, probably in the winter when I’m full on bulking. It looks awesome, feel like it would give almost a big strongman aesthetic if done enough over time.

Man that deadlift/farmers walk superset just WRECKS my grip. By the last set I’ll reset the deadlifts to get a good grip for the last rep or two but it just doesn’t help at all. Makes it worse to squeeze hard tbh.

Same. I don’t really like it. I guess it’s good for grip strength but I can’t deadlift much more without straps.

Finally got to finish my first full day of Arm Farm and I forgot how much I loved these workouts.

Great full body workout.

W3D1 arm farm: amrapped the last set of bench and got 11@210. For the second superset I could only make 70lb dbs so I did 10 reps per set and then dropsetted the last set with 55s to absolute failure. For bb Curl since it was 8 reps I could finally load the 45lb plates on ezbar; felt like a goddamn beast.

Then the shoulder superset humbled me and I couldn’t get 15 reps of curl to OHP with 20s haha.

I’ve been 195-197lbs for a few weeks now, and on one hand I probably need to cut back to 180-185 cause I’m definitely a little fluffier. On the other hand I gained the weight 0.5lbs a week since March and I feel strong AF.

Finished strongville last week. That was a bit rough, but loved it. The last weeks workouts ran really long (1:30 - 1:45 total).

Switching to The Prequel for next four weeks, followed by Let’s Pregame as part of squatober prep. Feels good to have a sub one-hour workout that doesn’t try and finish you off with farmer Carry’s.

Same. Overall, I liked Strongville, but it ran long. Now I am doing my personal favorite FOTH. I'm still trying to drop some weight and get strong as hell.

I bought some liquid chalk and used it for w3d4 deadlift/farmers walks. It helped a pretty noticeable amount above 3 plates. I think 3rep sets are easier on the grip too

Yea me too. But it falls on the last 4 weeks of my current 16 program so I may wait until November to do it.

An consensus on a plan for August? I definitely want something with a little more legs but not really sure yet.

Has anyone ran Hyper-Trophy Remastered? I am thinking about going more hypertrophy based in 2024 and that one has me curious.

We are thinking silverback for August; little less volume than some of the programs we have been running and a decent amount of deadlifting and squatting. Then something more upper body focused for September and then it’ll be Squatober again!

I could do Silverback again. I think I ran that one last September. Crazy how fast time goes, that was my first PPSA plan.

I like that plan!
