It’s risky imo. Desantis can point to Trump being very very pro vaccine and also going after Georgia/kemp and Sweden for opening up too soon

All of this. Trump pimped Warp Speed from the get-go and questioned governors coming out of lockdown.
Politically, it made sense for him at the time but it wasn't the best move.
