No. Close all the shithole section 8 apartments and redevelop that district as a mixed use commerce development geared towards student living/recreation/entertainment.

Get the element out of there that makes it dangerous to play and undesirable to live.

Police the shite out of it. They could Take back brightside view area while they’re at it.

I was shocked at how that area looks like little Afghanistan now.

Some need to go

Reggie’s has been trash for years

Fred’s is strict on their age requirement and the other bars take advantage of it by being generous on their age requirements and allow underage kids in.

Instead LSU has allowed ghetto pieces of shite non students increase crime in an area and drive students farther away . . .

How is LSU supposed to have stopped this?

How about a limited, tactical nuke to blow up all of Tigerland?

Repeal Title II of the Civil Rights Act and you would be closer to solving the problem you are grasping at right now.

It wouldn’t bother me if they bulldozed Tigerland in its entirety.
It does make me sad to have to say that because I have fond memories of when I used to live within walking distance to those bars. But that was 40 years ago.

Yes. Get the student bars out of the hood and much will be solved.
