Amid a surge in the game’s popularity, a bill recently introduced in the South Carolina Legislature would end a more than 60-year-old prohibition on children playing pinball in the Palmetto State.

Gotta love old outdated laws...

Pinball was used as a form of gambling years ago, that's why this crazy law was in place.

Even on my favorite table
He can beat my best
His disciples lead him in
And he just does the rest
He's got crazy flipper fingers
Never seen him fall
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball

The story goes 10 pin bowling was invented to skirt anti-gambling laws against 9-pin. People added a pin to get around it.

Good. Maybe next they'll finally overturn that silly law that says you can't tie up your horse within 100 feet of a saloon on Tuesdays.

Who on here remembers when you could get a single "play" on a pinball machine for a nickel?
