Asking to see receipt at Walmart

I don't shop with the poors.

I don't get asked because I don't steal anything.

Yes, it doesn't inconvenience me that much to do so.

Honestly, I use to and used to have zero issue with it.

Now, it depends. If I had to stand in line waiting to self checkout for 15+ mins and the employees "monitoring" self checkout were just gossiping, playing on their phones, etc. with half the self checkout lanes closed and offering zero assistance in decreasing the lines....then they want to keep me waiting even longer to check my receipt at the very end...I just keep walking.

I just walk out and pretend I didn’t hear anything. I ain’t no thug. My favorite was when a fat black lady who was sitting yelled at me to come back after the alarm went off. I ain’t no dog who comes when is called. She can get off her arse and/or talk to me in a decent manner.

I offer before I am asked, especially when shopping with my wife. They know that older white folks are not the folks going to Walmart to steal.

I’ll flash the receipt while walking but no way am I waiting in line like I see others do.

Few months ago I bought a small 35inch or so tv. I paid for it in the back electronics section, so I walked out the entrance with only the tv box and receipt. I knew they would end up stopping me. I handed my receipt to the woman and kept walking … “sir , sir here’s your receipt”. I just kept walking and said “thanks, you can keep it”
