Daniels is not Howard's main long term competition. Nuss is. If Daniels was leaving and Nuss beat out Howard in spring (which is likely), Howard's long term result is the same and likely leaves.

Nuss committed to staying. Howard got scared.

I believe it’s both equally. If JD or Nuss left, Walker stays.

It’s about reps. He’s 3rd string again and running scout team. If Daniels left he’s getting real reps in practice.

It delays his development a year.

Exactly. He left because there are 2 capable guys ahead of him and he wants to play football.

Some so called LSU fans are mentally retarded, no further example than the Wade fans.

He didn't leave because of Daniels or Nuss but that's an unpopular opinion on both sides of the aisle.

The people that believe it has anything to do with JD are just grasping for another reason to shite on him.

It’s not that complicated. He is a talented young man that believes he can start playing in real games this coming year….somewhere. There are teams in the SEC that might give him a more realistic chance. No one can see the future but I think our chances of winning are with him on the other team….right now. It’s also pretty clear he didn’t see himself pushing the two guys in front of him. The bowl game reinforced that.

He didn’t want to play scout team again so he left. Not a big deal

Dream school is not about earning your opportunity.

If he left because anyone stayed, it was Nuss staying not Daniels.

Howard left for a better opportunity, for him.

That’s because Howard didn’t leave because of Daniels at all. He didn’t care about Daniels.

Nuss informed the staff that he was not going anywhere and that got Howard’s panties in a wad so he transferred.

If he decides on TCU, that is your answer there.

His buddy Bech is there, better chance to start next year, no Okie and Texas to worry about year after next.

Easier road to playoffs.

Offense that he can throw for miles on

When Kelly arrived he had Brennan, Nuss, and Walker. So why go after JD? Its because he wants a system QB

Brennan and Howard left because of "the system" that requires a Daniels

Nuss will soon follow, because his skill set requires a different playbook than Daniels. Kelly isnt going to change his playbook that has made him marginally successful since 2007. Thats exactly what we hated about Les at the end

This is correct.

Some people are poor with basic logic.

Sad thing is that Nuss will transfer out when Daniels beats him again in the Spring and we will have a three star true freshman backup
