@MikeTriplett

Dennis Allen said indication he's been given is he will remain Saints coach, and he's had preliminary discussions with GM Mickey Loomis about the upcoming "deep dive" that will take place into looking at team.

Said 7-10 isn't good enough but also thinks team isn't that far off.

Get a real OC in here and try a little better in finding a QB and, ok, I'll give it another year.

Not ideal, but expected.

As expected. No way Loomis was going to admit a massive mistake like this 1 year in, with a guy that has been with the franchise a long time.

Another year of apathy.

you finished last in the worst division in football and Andy Dalton is currently your starting QB...you are very far off

Nah. I think everyone expects it and apathy is high. Only to get higher.

As expected. The Saints franchise without SP is a complacent, loser organization. Always has been. CSP presence was the only thing that ever changed that.

I would like to know what the Saints think they're not far off from.

Organizations like the Saints make me admire Jim Crane, the Astros owner. Dude gives no shits about feelings. Win or get replaced. GM's and coaches get 1 year contracts and are evaluated yearly. People criticize him for being too harsh but he gives no shits.

It’s pretty insane. We stink. No 1st. Cap hell. No QB.

I’m not sure how we could be further away.

You must have missed the number of downvotes another poster received yesterday for saying DA is not going anywhere. He literally stated nothing else, and there were a significant number of downvoters to that post. There are some idiots on this board

This is what should get him fired. We’re 7-10 in the worst division in football and we’ve lost a decent bit because the head coach pays no attention to detail, employs a 13 year old boy as OC, and has no balls.

ETA: the silver lining to him returning is things will get better in 2024 when we can get some cap relief, draft picks, and clean house.

See you in 2024. Haven’t watched since Arizona second half. Won’t watch next year until Allen is gone.

If he can keep his paws off the offense and get an OC that actually wants the job I think he should get 1 more shot. Because the truth is until we get a franchise QB it really doesn’t matter who the coach is
