I don’t understand the question. I just show up and don’t give anything.

Are you asking about a wedding gift or how much do I contribute to the cost of a wedding reception?

Is this like a mafia shakedown at the reception or something? Cash in evelopes handed over to the father of the bride?

Giving people money to cover the cost of your attendance to a wedding reception that you probably really dont want to be at anyway is a thing?

According to the wife, it depends on who it is and also what/how much they gave us for our wedding.

Are you talking about the wedding gift or the wedding reception?

Both, we'll do a gift and then bring cash for the bag that the bride totes around.

We flew in for my niece’s wedding. Gave her $500 but only because she is family and her dad (my brother) has helped us in the past.

Bring a stack of $1s then. $150 in dolla bills should be sufficient
