Merry Christmas, my dear friends

Dear Friends,
On this holy night, Mother, Uncle, Cousin, and I would like to extend our compliments of the season with you. Although we are not Roman Catholics, like Grandmother, we will be attending midnight Mass and we hope to see you there. If you see us, please welcome us with open arms.
It was on this night so many years ago that the sacred joined us in the flesh. God is with us, the Word made flesh, this night, for God so loved the world. May that truth bring all of you, whether you are alone, whether you are mourning, whether you are celebrating, or whether you are remembering, assurance that God loves you and will not forsake you.
The love of God in Christ at Christmas is but prelude to the greatest love this world has ever known. May the light of the world illuminate and warm you. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Joy to the world!
Faith, Hope, and Love,
TulaneLSU

Subtly great, yet lacking the familiar detail we have come to expect from such a spirit driven member.
Not disappointed as much as I am disenfranchised with what this has turned into.
