No frozen pipes here so far, but I did notice my neighbor wrapped up her gas meter. Go figure.

Did you check the hanger for the helicopters?

I haven’t been out to my place in the country since wrapping the pipes and protecting the two water wells. Riding out today to see how good of a job I did. I haven’t received any calls from the renters or neighbors.

My cold water line to my washer is still frozen. Put a heater next to the wall all day yesterday and went under the house with hair dryer and still frozen. No idea where the ice plug is located. Frustrating.
Cold water line to master bath froze last night but a few minutes with the hair dryer got those flowing again.
My neighbors went to CO for Christmas and asked me to check on their house and all of their cold water lines are frozen. They asked me to turn their water off but not sure what that is going to do at this point.

Would installing a hot water recirculating pump help my pipes?

What is done is done, but turning off the water now will protect the house from flooding once the temps increase and the pipes thaw, this afternoon and more so tomorrow afternoon will be when most people figure out they have had pipes burst, plumbers fixin to eat

Yep.
I looked under the house and the line that I was worried about froze and cracked.
Ran out to my local hardware store that is closing early today for Christmas Eve. I bought a CPVC cap to cut the line and cap it shorter.
I cut it past the cracked section and put the CPVC cap on the line.
Pipe was frozen solid. Fingers crossed that it didn’t bust at the connection to the mainline. I didn’t see any other leaks or cracks.

Only if you blow your pipes with an air compressor… otherwise, this is a recipe for disaster.
I opened the lowest taps on the property, then shut off at the street. The lowest taps are low enough to drain under the house.
The only line in danger is the one that runs about 18” from the ground up to the house. It’s heavy steel, and I wrapped it.
I actually did less the last time we had a freeze and had no damage.

My neighbors came over about an hour ago asking if we had water. Said that they didn't. I asked if they had wrapped their pipes and I got a very non specific answer other than that they ran their heat. Next day or two should be fun for them.

Went outside a couple of hours ago and two of my faucet covers had been stolen. Lucky the pipes weren’t frozen.
I put mine on at the last moment and blocked with garbage can.

I have a 2 year old house with pex plumbing, and I have a toilet feed frozen against an exterior wall. Ugh.

Welp.
I had an outdoor spigot bust. It was wrapped and covered. I went to the street to turn off my water and the valve broke clean off.
After several moment of panic, I ran to Lowe's and bought shark tooth cap to stop the spigot. They work really well FWIW.
The city is here now digging up my valve to replace.
This bill should be fun.

My parents house had a hot line in the attic freeze that was feeding their two bathrooms(copper). I got up there with a heat lamp and thawed it out. It’s a miracle it didn’t burst because they hadn’t had hot for two days until an hour ago.

We checked ours in the attic a bit ago and it was good. No freezing, bulging, etc.
So we’re still without water in the whole house. We’ve checked all of our inside stuff so it seems to indicate we have a freeze outside to the main. That said, the water company has been replacing pipes on all the streets behind us so I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if it’s tied to that.
Right now we’re just waiting. Plumber won’t come out until it thaws and we know we have a burst/bust or not. We won’t get above freezing until Tuesday at earliest. Water Company isn’t even in the office through Tuesday and I called their line last night to have someone check the line between the meter and the street but was told it could be days before that happens since we “don’t see water”.
Absolutely fricking infuriated at this point.

All of my outside spigots froze despite being covered but everything inside is dripping still and still have hot water etc.
I just cracked open the spigots a little and uncovered them, and set the dishwasher to run at 2 am.
Just one more night of this bullshite where I am.

I guess a PSA is deserved here: even wrapped pipes can burst.
To update my previous post, in addition to the hot line that cracked. I had a cold water line bust too. It busted from the toilet to the faucet that I had running under the house.
My local hardware stores closed at noon, I didn’t see the cold one that cracked too as it was wrapped and still frozen. Luckily, I had grabbed some CPVC caps and other CPVC connectors, thinking it was just the hot line. I capped the CPVC line thinking that I fixed the problem.
I went to the store for Christmas cooking and when I got back water was squirting out of a cracked cold water line. Luckily I had grabbed a CPVC to PVC converter and used the section of CPVC with the cap already on the adapter glued that to my PVC cold water line and put another CPVC cap on the hot line.
Waited 30 minutes, and checked for other leaks, so far so good.

Checking in with one outside busted 1/2” pipe in Madisonville, La. with raised home. Cut and capped with end stop. Should be interesting tomorrow.

next week's project is installing at the ground cut offs for all my outdoors lines

I got got by the one piece of PVC I had above ground. I re-plumed 6-7 years ago and used Pex. On one of my hydrants I didn't replace it fully. It is a frost free hydrant, but had about a foot long piece of PVC that I left because I didn't have another hydrant and was in a time crunch. It has been wrapped/insulated, and crawl space and all covered since with many 20° nights.
This time, that one section gave up, froze, and blew. A couple hours before dark my water pressure dropped and I could hear a faint roar of water. I knew what it was.
Had to go to Lowes for a Shark bite stop cap and a cutter. Of the 60 or so folks there, I bet 50+ were buying plumbing shite. I got what I needed, got back, cut the Pex right before the PVC and put the cap in. Water was back on before dark, and I won't need that hydrant until it warms up, anyway.
The frost-free hydrant is fine, it was the short piece of PVC that froze. I'll replace it with the right hydrant when it warms up later on.
I'm also thankful that this house has a water shutoff near the house, and I didn't have to walk to the road (long driveway) to cut the water off.
