MBB is not a 1 year rebuild after losing the players we lost. Matt will be successful IMO.

When your best player is held to 3 shots in 31 minutes vs a team like UT Austin because your offense can’t get him the ball and you don’t have the sense to just let him bring it up and start the offense you’re not a very good coach.

Meanwhile, Bill Self just gets a 4 game suspension .. which is all we had to do!
Was Bill self found to be making payments to recruit’s families out of his own bank account?

This is the point people don't understand. We didn't HAVE to fire Wade. Just had to suspend him.

I dont think you know what Wade got fired for... He crawfished on promises to LSU and NCAA for testimony regarding the investigation. LSU walked the plank for him as far as they could.

Woodward obviously had some personal issues or something with Wade. He wanted HIS coach and made it happen. Could be a huge mistake, could work out in the long run. We’ll see

Wade paid guys from his own bank account. Y’all are complaining about a coach that had nobody on his roster when he got here lol. Y’all are delusional

Unfortunately I am not a basketball fan, but Wade actually had me invested and watching games. I don't know why, but he had me interested in a sport I never cared to follow. He was a pretty special coach.

I regret it went this way, but I also understand it. I no longer have any interest, but not out of emotion. I wish all LSU athletics success.

McMahon will build this program to making the NCAA Tourney every year. He did a whole lot with less at Murray State.

last time we hired a coach to “do things the “right” way” , we got Trent Johnson. Sigh.

He was suspended and then started doing the same shite he was suspended for. That was why he was let go.

Are you suggesting Wade was a good coach?

Wade was sloppy to begin with, at the end of the day that was his fatal flaw.

I do think he could have potentially saved face by being more remorseful & up front about what was going on. Instead he alienated himself from the decision makers at lsu when they had a right to an explanation.

I don’t know how such a mediocre coach could be so loved.
