So yet another year where the BCS would have delivered the exact right final.

If only we had a 12 team playoff so we could answer once and for all whether this Georgia team could handle Tulane or Washington.

Georgia
Mich
OSU
Bama.

Much as I dislike Bama and OSU. Either would beat TCU by 2 -3 tds easily.

TCU, Ohio State, or Bama….the fact half the playoff teams are going to be competing for a NC and didn’t win their conference.

You clowns want to put TCU at 3 to avoid a Michigan- Ohio State rematch of a week ago, are simply punishing Georgia by making them play the tougher of the "other" teams in TCU and The OSU.

Sounds fair to the #1 team.

What would be the neutral site spread for Bama/Ohio St?

If the committee does what they are supposed to do, OSU should be ranked #3 regardless of the rematch. Seems like Georgia would be getting the short end of the stick having to play OSU in 1st round.

Agreed. The committee doesn't try to make or not make match-ups. They just use the same formula and thought process they have used in the weeks prior. The process of ranking teams doesn't change just because this is the ranking that will set the playoff match-ups.

Plus, there’s no logical way you can keep TCU at 3 after a loss.

Nah TCU is a lock
In truth they don't belong anywhere near it. They are going to get whooped.

This is a lay up question:

1. UGA
2. Michigan
3. TCU
4. Ohio State

My bad, I see you said Bama.

Fanduel is showing some lookahead lines for the anticipated matchups at UGA -6.5 v OSU and Mich -9.5 v TCU.

Huh?

TCU
12 wins
Best win likely #7 or #8
Loss to #7 in Ot

Ohio state
11 wins
Best win number #7 or #8
Loss by 20 points to number 2

TCU logically should be #3

One of those was Tarleton State.

TCU should stay #3, but the committee has legs to stand on if they want to play with the matchups.

What is the argument for OSU over TCU?

That's Corrigan's problem if they give #1 the favorable matchup.
