A) complain to management
B) piss on the bathroom floor instead of the urinal

Cross it off my list for eternity.

Tip accordingly and remember it the next time you decide to eat out.
Boru is possibly the only restaurant I've marked completely off my list because of poor service. The first time, I wrote it off as a bad day for the staff. The second time, I wrote off Boru.
ETA - I forgot about the Popeyes on Jones Creek Road. Wrote them off in the late 90s and never looking back.

Mark it as a loss and deal with it.

Your lazy waitress isn't the one who has to clean the bathroom floor.

Tell us more, what happened?

Wait in the parking lot for their shift to end and then beat the christ out of them.

You can tell who’s never worked at a restaurant before by who complains in these threads

Real "alphas" never pee in the urinal.

Start refilling my own beer until they get the hint.

I pay a 15% tip and write a short note. I tell them the service was bad but I always leave a minimum tip. "You get the minimum based on your performance".
I figure the bad waiters won't care but the coachable ones will hopefully get the message. Giving No tip just allows them to dismiss me as an ahole (which I am).

Most restaurant owners and managers appreciate any type of civil and helpful feedback.
They can’t address problems unless they are made aware of them. Unfortunately, most complaints they hear are from the usual suspects, and are rarely legitimate.

Just eat it (literally and figuratively) without running the server down, leave, and decide to go back or not at a later date

Put it in the manager’s arse

That depends on how good the food is. People put up with an awful lot of BS at Popeyes because the chicken is so dang good.

If the food is really good I will put up with the bad service. If it's not, I will just never go back.

Flip the table and fight the manager
