Clemson will pass them and Michigan will not drop below bama. The committee will not do it for this years bama even if it is a big loss.

The committee could have Clemson in front right now if they wanted, UM’s schedule has already been mentioned by the committee.

Yeah the committee had OSU ranked number 1 at this point in 2019 too.
Georgia hopped bama in 2017.

Clemson as a one loss ACC winner will 100% jump Alabama. There is absolutely zero question about that.

There is no way, if we beat A$M and lose to Georgia that Alabama would go. Otherwise, the message is you’re better off opting out of the SECCG.

If any team could be a 2-loss non-division winning team to make the playoffs, it would be Alabama.

And to the person talking about all the help we needed in 2007 to get there after the Arkansas loss, remember that we were part of that help by winning the SEC title game.

An SEC team with 2 losses makes it only if they win their conference. Alabama has no chance, however, if LSU didn't make it to the SEC title game they had a chance.

yeah it’s not going to happen but it could. Like someone said, 2007.

Pitt beat WVU. Iowa State could beat TCU. Iowa could win (not really) Big 10 championship game. Etc etc etc

They also gave USC an opening to jump LSU this weekend.

If our AD hadn’t sabotaged the program for his own ego we’d be right there.

If the teams in bold all lose this weekend, where is Bama ranked?

Zero chance Bama jumps Georgia if they lose. Zero.

Zero chance Bama jumps Michigan. Zero.

I think if you strip away the name on the jerseys, TCU’s wins are better than anything Bama has. If they only have one loss (unless they get demolished) they’ll stay above Bama also.

They’ll be ahead of USC and Clemson (clearly) if those lose.

So if LSU, Michigan, TCU, USC, and Clemson all lose:

1. UGA (13-0)
2. OSU (13-0)
3. UM (12-1)
4. TCU (12-1)
—-
5. Bama (10-2)

Michigan will lose Saturday, handedly.

If LSU, USC, and TCU each lose one more (which seems likely).

Bama is in. Easy. They’re 7 right now with a good chance of 3,4,5,6 losing one more game

Lmao

You are MFing DREAMING if you think TCU won’t fall from 4 if they lose, same with Michigan.

Bama would be a 2 score favorite over TCU if they played tomorrow.

If TCU loses to Iowa St or Kansas St they’ll be lucky to hold on to a top 10 spot let alone top 4

I honestly think Bama likes where they’re sitting right now. Not having to play UGA. 3 Michigan will lose big on Saturday. 4 TCU I think would lose to K ST in their championship. I think USC loses in the Pac12 championship to Oregon. And I think we’ll lose to UGA in the SEC championship.

Bama is currently #7.... if 3, 4, 5, 6 each lose a game - Bama is a lock. Some of y’all just don’t understand math. I actually like Bama’s chance to get in.

A one loss TCU or Michigan staying in ahead of Bama

No. Any conference champions will jump them. Bama is at their ceiling.
