Good result in big scheme
Greg just flat out cannot coach. Waited way too long to sub and then did wrong subs.
And now on kntervoew Greg says anytime you get a shutout its a good thing. He is content with tie.
Iran will go bunker defense. They have no way to advance, if they can tie and knockout US they will declare a holiday. We’ll have ball a lot but it won’t be easy.
We played great until we lost our legs and Greg didn’t sub to keep our chances high. Last 2 subs had no time to even get in flow of game. We have a lot of talemt which masks bad coaching.
Also thought too many times we got ball out wide outside box and instead of service they passed backwards. Many missed chances there.
Tie is good but felt we had a goal in us if we manage the second half better with subs.
Must win game against terrorists. Also watch out for baiting and bad fouls. Again, Iran has nothing to lose and my worry is them injuring players.
EDIT: I never once had checked Iran game score and had assumed they tied or lost. My bad on that.

That’s the maddest statement I’ve seen posted here since we were discussing soccer on the MSB. We got politics and history all in one meltdown because a country known for beans on toast had another disappointing World Cup match. Go hug your kids or take a walk before you embarrass yourself more.

Two yellows imo. Shaq Moore was reckless as hell and could have easily been booked. There was also a tactical foul that he have called on Adams for a yellow.

From some of the comments it appears some of you guys may not be familiar with US Soccer let me quickly educate you:
Goalies: We are some of the best in the world. When my son was in England his friend told the Brit’s my buddy plays soccer too, response was “whatever “, when he told the Brits he is an allstar goalie, response was “Really, ok we will get the lads together for a match then” they even lent him a pair a gloves and he didn’t disappoint. The only position of prestige for US players.
Defending/defensive players: These players are also valuable worldwide, as many are big athletic physical types etc, they play in premier league etc.
Ball handling- Meh but getting better overall
Strikers - intense laughter, we don’t even have two decent ones rarely ever. We typically can’t buy a goal, no one fears our attacks.
So this means we have to play for low scoring defensive type games, which much of the world hates as it’s not as exciting. We are basically a bad Germany team or Germany without strikers. It is simply who we are. Fast athletic hard working grinders
