I've read the term "GOPe" here constantly since the midterm elections. What does it mean or stand for? Did the term originate on these forums?

Anything not trump even though he was and is a swamp creature = GOPe

He did some incredibly swampy things, but that is [D]ifferent.

Similar to a RINO, pretending to be a conservative, like arguing with a democrat while playing footsy with the democrat under the table. Controlled, obedient opposition of the left wing state.

I always call it the Great Oppositional Party, because they never do anything besides oppose what the democrats propose. But GOPe stuck, around here.

The folks who have been GOP for decades and decades, while most Trump supporters were still Democrats.

Which (of course) also means that they are also "Republicans in Name Only (RINO)," while the supporters of Democrat Donald Trump are the only TRUE Republicans.

Yeah, it takes a while to understand.

Think of it this way. If you voted Republican before the Trump phenomenon, you are DEFINITELY a RINO and perhaps GOPe, unless you fully embraced Trump, in which case you are somewhat suspect but still provisionally-treated as a Real American (tm).

Non MAGA GOP.

Evidently they're worse than Democrats to the MAGA crowd.

Now it means anything or anyone who does not stand lock step with Trump in unquestioning allegiance.

Apparently according to what you read here from some.

Makes sense, Dems say they will do something maga is against and then they try to do it or force some backdoor fricked up way to get it. gope say they will do something maga is all for, and then proceed to do something altogether different.

In summary they are essentially equal.

Dems do something fricked up and then try to cover it up with lies.
GOPe lie to your face to get your support and then do something fricked up.

Did the little e thing begin with the University of South Carolina being called "USCe" as in USC-East to differentiate from Southern Cal?

That was where I first saw something like that being used.
