We use Outlook calendar and everyone’s calendar is shareable. So if you need to schedule a meeting or call with someone all you have to do is pull up their calendar and see if they’re busy, traveling, etc. It works great but we still have a handful of people who still can’t grasp the concept.
Ah. That's smart. We have that internally since we all work remotely and in different time zones, but we don't share our calendars with clients.
My work doesn't really lend itself to that working out, unfortunately. The majority of the times that I'm too busy to handle a client's cold call are not because I'm not around at all - but because I'm working on something more important which wouldn't be on a calendar.

When I email out something like a new price sheet, parts catalog, etc. and tell the group they need to read it, understand it, and save it to their records. Then days later someone sends me an email asking something that was in the information I’d already provided. I’ve made a habit of simply going back and forwarding the original email I sent them.
If this keeps happening to you, you’re the common denominator. Maybe you should change how you’re messaging it?

Same here. We share calendars internally only.

Add broccoli to the "don't microwave it at the office list"....
... and what's with these folks who show up to the office with roller bags, multiple coolers, drink flasks and back packs? Where are they going? A week trip on the Appalachian trail?
Maybe I should be asking what's in all that gear?

When you send over a document for signature and they send back just the signature page.
This pisses me off to no end. Why? Because every profession, whether you're in sales, supply chain, law, contracts, etc. has to have a complete single document.
You're either having to go back and substitute that page into a complete document and it looks absolutely wonky.

My typical message reads like this:
“Please see attached IRM on revised -*whatever*. This IRM is effective immediately. Please copy to your files for future reference”
Should I say this instead:
“Hey little buddy. How you doing? You’re so awesome. Hey, could you look at this IRM and save it to your files? If you could that would be awesome. But, If you don’t feel like it, that’s fine too. You can just pretend you’ve never seen this IRM and instead contact me to ask something that you’d already know if you’d have read and saved this IRM to your files. Either way, you’re special, you’re unique, and I love you.”

Didn’t mean to trigger you. You’re a smart guy, I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

People who try to squeeze in a bunch of vacation time at the end of the year because they “don’t want to lose them”.
The answer is no. Plan your time better throughout the year.

The only thing you triggered was my sarcastic sense of humor.

Mine is overly sensitive pussies that can't take a joke and circle jerk each other parroting their outrage. It's like they think this is some sanctimonious site and if you rattle their sensitive selves they gather in a bunch like outraged liberal women screaming and yelling in unison.

But it doesn't have to come from the person who signed it. If you send the execution copy over, and they send back just the signature page, you can follow up with the fully executed compiled doc.

Having someone call about something, start the call by saying that they are very busy, and then proceed to waste 1 hour of my time telling me stories about their life I have heard 10 times already.

People who put their whole lunch box in the fridge.

When they do not clean-up after themselves in the toilet! When a brush, cleaner and even extra paper are available in the stall!
When they turn off the fart fan in the toilet after they drop something that is causing the paint to peel!
Taking the last cup of coffee and not making a new pot or leaving barely a 1/8" to burn and stinking up the kitchen!

We have a female coworker who put those strong smelling mints on the sides of each toilet that burn my nostrils, we don’t have urinals. Currently I’m taking a leak outside behind my truck.
Also we have female engineers that wear those ripped jeans and a disney character t shirt, not professional.

Coworkers that burn incense or have strong smelling candles, etc. – I can’t stand those
One time a co-worker thought our building was haunted and burned sage around the building for like a week. Worst work week of my life.

Not clearing the microwave timer when done. Anyone that does this is a narcissistic jerk.
