I’ll admit, this is inspired by Harold Perkins performance today and his entire season thus far as a True Freshman.

Definitely showing my age a little bit, but Hershel Walker and Bo Jackson come to mind. Orlando Pace is another one. I wanna say he only gave up 1 sack in his entire career @ Ohio St? Someone fact check… A more recent player would be Adrian Peterson. Just incredible @ Oklahoma & then on the Vikings.

Who are some other guys?

Marcus Dupree, Derrick Henry, and Leonard Fournette come to mind.

All three had mature builds, and freak athleticism.

Perkins would be a 3rd down pass rush specialist at the NFL level right now.

No shade, he's amazing, but he still needs to add some weight and finish learning a college level playbook.

RBs are basically the only answer.

Derek Stingley is another.

Definitely not a lot though. It’s not just the physical ability you need in the nfl, but also the mental ability. Fournette physically could’ve played but he was so behind mentally with reading keys and picking up blitzes, etc, that he would’ve been pretty bad.

LSU's left tackle is a man.

He could play pro ball and he's 18.

There's a reason why the NFL loves the current model.

For a select handful of players that were athletic freaks that were highly touted and actually blew CFB away, there are SOOO many that were can't miss guys that faltered.

The correct answer is, 'no one'. Not even close. It's just too big of a jump.

I would think WRs corners and RBs would be able to transition the easiest.

Maybe Marvin Harrison Jr cause he came in 6'3'' 210. Guys like that and Julio Jones are fine at WR.

I think a number of RBs could have been "ok".

Leonard Fournette probably would’ve been a better NFL RB as an 18-21 yr old then he has been as an “adult”
