I’d rather them forgive student debt than keep laundering money through Ukraine

More money will get sent to foreign aid now instead. It's not like they aren't going to spend it...

HA I hope the fricking losers that voted on this issue get railroaded by high inflation and interest rates.

They just need to re-classify Student Loans as PPP Loans, simple solution

It’s one federal judge in Texas. There are multiple suits at multiple stages. SCOTUS has denied injunctive relief multiple times. This doesn’t really move the needle, beyond creating circuit splits that make it more likely for SCOTUS to eventually grant cert.

People falling apart because they have to repay their student loans for dumb arse degrees that they can’t get a decent job for.
It’s like people that have zero reason to go to law school but will dive into massive debt to go to southern law school, finish in the bottom 25% of the class and then can’t pass the bar.
Why should someone like that be forgiven for school debt?

Ironically, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Biden extend the repayment moratorium indefinitely while his forgiveness EO is being challenged.

I’ve yet to read a coherent argument over who would even have standing to challenge student debt forgiveness. This just seems to be delaying the inevitable.

"This attempted illegal student loan bailout would have done nothing to address the root cause of unaffordable tuition: greedy and bloated colleges that raise tuition far more than inflation year after year while sitting on $700 billion in endowments. We hope that the court’s decision today will lay the groundwork for real solutions to the student loan crisis."

Really?!?! Why, 'cause dumbocrats are the only ones who give people free money they didn't earn?!?!

It's funny to me, it even excluded the adults out there that consolidated/refinanced their loans into a lower interest rate plan.
Was going to have to pay it anyway, suck it libs.
