We know he has the D, but Dyson seems much, much more of a facilitator who is best with the ball in his hands than just a guy who catches and shoots 3s.

Yeah, if you get Scoot, I think you're much better off with Jose and Dyson running the second unit and shipping off CJ when the time comes.

Do you take Scoot Henderson? How would he fit on this roster?

Eventually...like it or not...Pels MUST fix their biggest problem. A rim-protecting (possibly 3-pt shooting) BIG 5... so we gotta keep an eye on Dereck Lively and see how he developes. Assuming no Wemby, IF we had the 2 pick...it might be very possible to trade down our #2 pick and STILL get Lively AND some excellent parting gifts thrown in from somebody that REALLY wants Scoot but doesn't have a need for a BIG 5.

Unless a big is a unicorn like Wemby, I’d rather trade a Bucks and/or Pels top 3 protected first for Turner and call it a day then trade out of #2 to move back and take Lively.

Safer way to go for sure, and maybe the best...but I've just never liked Turner so I'm kinda interested to see how this guys developes this year at Duke. LINK

Dudes that size seem to not have success staying healthy.

Wembanyama must have load management.
Currently he plays once a week. Play him twice a week when he will be in the NBA, not directly 3 matches a week

I want to watch the college basketball season first. There is bound to be a player that shines and vaults up the list. The Razorbacks are loaded with top end wings. If they shock everyone and win it all, with one of those players showing out, all mocks go out the window.

I just believe there is going to be someone taken really high that no one is currently thinking about..

It’s early. But I see Dyson as more of a secondary playmaker at the moment.

I don’t think his handle and overall threat level on offense is tight enough to be a primary playmaker.

He is young though, so he could theoretically develop.

I just think with Zion and Brandon, I don’t know that any of our other role players are going to reach their absolute peaks. They are more or less going to be asked to be stars in their roles. I don’t think Dyson will ever be asked to be a Cade or Tyrese Hali level PG in this offense. I think it will be more like Lonzo, like Bronc said, if Dyson’s shooting comes around.

Henderson would be a good playmaker but well...Pels's 3pt and defense would be even worse than actually.

But yeah, take Scoot if we have the pick 2.

that puts us in a logjam at guard

cj is Mr calm. meh D.
jose. close to 2 way.
graham can get hot. no d.
temple. nailed to bench.
kira. no d. meh offense.

that's a log jam of backups and towel wavers on a champ.

Daniels and scoot for the future.

I like the idea of duke center. might still be around with the actual pels laker pick somewhere 1 to 6.
one thing to keep in mind is you take who you like. not what pundits like.
if duke C is it, do it.
don't be trading down #2 for #6 this year and the trading partner Mystery Date next year.

You take Scoot and don’t think about it.

I mean, I think so too but that puts us in a logjam at guard unless Dyson grows more and we use him as more of a wing.

Scoot would be better than any of the other guards that we have. You improve the position if you have the chance.

So, do we get the Lakers pick if it falls between 1-10?

Scoot gives off prime DRose vibes. He’d fit nicely

It's an unprotected pick swap. As long as they finish worse than us then we'll take the pick and give them ours.

100%. You maybe look to trade 3, but 1 and 2 you absolutely take the players.
